Here's a few of my published stories, essays and articles.
Books
I have written a number of fiction and nonfiction books, including: The Insiders’ Guide to Phoenix (Globe-Pequot with Paul Morris); a science fiction novel, Shadow Engineer (forthcoming with Eric Bogatin); and my collection of short stories, Parrot Love (forthcoming). I have also written numerous business histories.

I have been freelancing professionally since 1987 (under my maiden name of Rohlk and my previously married name of Pfeiffer.) In that time, I have written more than a thousand newspaper and magazine articles over the years. Essays
I have written personal essays and thought pieces about writing for various literary magazines and anthologies, including Pithead Chapel, Short Story Magazine, Creative Nonfiction, Iowa Woman and Mamaphonic: Balancing Motherhood and Other Creative Acts. I have also been a contributing blogger for Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers.
Ghostwriting and Editing
I have ghostwritten and done extensive collaboration on a number of fiction and nonfiction books. I have also did developmental editing and copyediting on numerous traditionally and self-published books, including the award-winning Look Both Ways in the Barrio Blanco by Judith Robbins Rose which was recently released by Candlewick Press.
